NATURE THE MAGNIFICENT
What can be more miraculous than the perfect alignment of the Drang Drung Glacier, Zanskar, Ladakh, with the Milky-way, in the ink-black firmament of Ladakh, and a million stars beckoning the viewer to be one with the universe!.

Photographed with Nikon Z7 and Z Nikkor 20mm f/1_8 S lens @ f/1_8, 15 seconds and ISO 3200

FROM THE HEAVEN LAKE
The calligraphy of water on the valley floor, brings its journey to the final stretch, where it finds a vast canvas. Starting as ice in the high-altitude Himalayan peaks, and concentrated and compacted in the glaciers midway, it comes down as glacial melt in summer.

Photographed with Nikon Z7 and Z Nikkor 24-70mm f/2_8 S lens @ 70mm, f/9, 1/10s and ISO 64 - Handheld

THE INEFFABLE LIGHTNESS OF BEING
Spirits are meant to soar, despite whatever fetters or weight some external factor attaches to the body. Wanted to convey the joy, the effulgence and the sheer flight of the white frangipani flower into an ethereal plane. As if the flower is indicating through the five petals formed like a mudra, a visual alphabet, to rise above the mundane, and be a part of the sublime, and the infinite.

Photographed with Nikon Z7 and Z Nikkor 135mm f/1_8 S Plena lens @ f/2, 1/100s and ISO 64 Exposure +0_3 stop

SERENDIPITY AT ITS VERY BEST
While photographing this glacial lake in the Himalayan highlands of Ladakh, I was pleasantly surprised to see this wild horse come to have a drink at the lake. The sun was already high in the sky, but I was lucky in creating a sunstar to celebrate this wonderful conjunction of events.

Photographed with Nikon Z7 and Z Nikkor 14-24mm f/2_8 S lens @ 24mm, f/16, 1/80s and ISO 72

THE LIGHT OF SPRING
Kanchana (Bauhinia variegata) flowers put up a spectacular show in late winter and early spring. The flowers are noted for the beautiful structure, colours, and profusion, and almost the total absence of leaves. Paint the world pink.

Photographed with Nikon Z7 and Z Nikkor 135mm f/1_8 S Plena lens @ f/1_8, 1/500s and ISO 180 - Exposure +1_3 stops
